Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) has made a new firmware for the phones K610 / V630 available for download. The same version is available for K800i. The new firmware gives a couple of new features/bug-fixes for the phone. The new R1GJ001 might be the final software release for these phones.

At first glance, we see that Java seems to be cached. Programs start almost instantly the second time they are started. Highlighted menu-item animation is now supported. This means videos are played in thumbnail view in camera-album. The firmware should be working better in many operator network. This result in better sound quality and fewer dropped calls.
