Apple has an unique way of creating enthusiasm around their products. Even if they are quite a bit smaller then Microsoft, they are very visible in both the computer and mobile phone market.
Microsoft have a long line of products running their operating system for mobile phones - Windows Mobile, but it still iPhone that steals the attention. Even though it is not launched yet.
